Ram 1500 Mods

So I have a 2001 Ram 1500 QC/SB that I want to do MILD crawling with. Right now I have it on 33" MT's and just took off the swaybar. Would this truck be pretty good if I did a 7" long arm lift and some 39.5" boggers? I want something that can conquer the local trails and some serious mud, but I love seeing it when a truck can FLEX like a crawler. (note the word "like" haha I know it will never be the same, just want something that will be great all around)

If this isnt the list of mods for my truck, what do you guys think would make a great all around rig for bogging, a little crawling, and playing in snow?

Leave the truck alone and buy a Jeep/Toyota/Bronco/Samuri...etc.

Is it your daily driver? Also are you wanting to be able to drive it to and from where you wheel or will it be trailered?

Swapping in one tons would be mandatory to run 39.5s.

Take it from someone who has gone down this road........ build a Jeep.

If you are dead set on building that truck, you need 1-tons for sure. I'd suggest taking a look at Pavementsucks.com and look through some old stuff from 2005-2009. Tons of good info on there.
