Just wondering if someone can help me identify some parts on a 5.3. I've searched for about an hour now with everything I can possibly think of on google to find my answer before posting on here. If I take a picture of the couple parts can someone help me identify what it is and if its needed for the swap into my Jeep. Any help greatly appreciated. I just bought engine yesterday and I'm not real familiar with some of the small parts and sensors.

Damn son. That was easy. I don't remember seeing the egr valve on some other installs. Do I need that or can I remove it and its connecting pieces. The last swap I saw I believe had a plug over the hole on the intake that it runs into. And that oil level, will I need to get a new one or can I **** can it when I put the new oil pan on it. Thanks a lot bud.

You nailed it. Get rid of those 2 and their wiring and have them tuned out.

P.S. Your watch is gay

Can't thank you enough. Been staring at google for hours trying to figure this bitch out.

Just got done doing that. For time being. I found egr block off plates on Internet that I ordered a few of. They were cheap and another buddy needs one also. I'll get map sensor tomorrow.

for your egr you can also use a rubber expandable freeze plug I forgot what size. The 6.0 with hyroboost brakes have a plug in the intake for your booster if you can come up with one.
