needing help on jeep build

I got a 79 cj7, has 350 th400 not sure on t-case(has no tag) has 4 inch suspension lift with spring over axle kit, my problem is the rear drive shaft, the angle is to steep and too short. I rotated the axle a little bit and still not working out, its a trail only rig. Any help with my problem would be awesome ill try to upload pics.

A cv joint at the case end of the drive shaft will really help the binde on the rear shaft, I will take a picture of the rear shaft in my rockwell wrangler and show you

I got a couple cv joints the guy I got the jeep from gave me. either way I either have to move the rear end or lower the suspension, I heard that a turbo 350 is smailer in length then a turbo 400 is this true?

Could look into swapping a Dana 300 with a short output. That would save you a couple inches and be stronger than what you have now.

Ford cv joints have twice the flex of a Chevy or some of the others

I run a 700r4 with a Dana 300 transfer 9" low pinion 4" spring under with revolvers
I went with a Tom Woods with a CV and it works great Runs down the road at 70 all day with no vibration at all

Looks like a np203. You could change that rear output yoke to a flange and run a cv. Or what i would do is get a np205 and swap tcases. The 205 is probably 8-10 inches shorter and should improve that driveshaft angle by adding length. It's also stronger and easily twin sticked.
