Winch help

Recently purchased a cab truck. And the hook is broke off the winch and I can't find the end of the wire cause it's all tangled up. And they have build the bumper around the bumper like. So can I cut it out and replace the wire. And if so from where and how much? And it's a warn 9000lb winch. Thanks

people usually sell them for real cheap when they put synthetic line on.

At one time I had 3 brand new wire cables in the shop and couldn't give them away. I've probably got them around here somewhere.

If you cut it off. Spend the cheese and get the rope, you will never regret it.

Yes i think I will go with the rope unless I can find some cheap wire. But what size rope would I need?

1/2" for a 9,000# winch. Definitley worth the cost.

That looks what a good price for all of that. When you cut the wire off how do uku attach the new? Do you just loop it threw?
