75/25 Mig Welding Gas Prices.

What is a big bottle of 75/25 cost in your area. I am going to go swap a bottle out tomorrow. One place said $83 which seems a little high. The last bottle I exchanged was 100% Argon and I think it was like 60 dollars.

I get smoking deals at Holston Gases... i run a 300ci mix and 300 argon. Hated running out of gas with the baby bottles.

Yeah my tig bottle is 300 and mig is also. I was going to go by Cullman Welding Supply( Holston). Got to get liner, tips all sorts of stuff. Some tig parts also. Seems like whenever I go to use one I need something and it will be weekend and nobody is open.

What you paying per bottle?

Less than $40 a bottle, for 100% argon here

Airgas in bham this morning. Bought an extra for my garage, $275, exchanged a bottle for work, $56

I think I payed $27.00 this past Monday at valley air in muscle shoals.

This has been talked about here before. There is a huge price discrepancy even at the same location. Not sure how to get the best price. But, when they ask who it is for and you say you are paying cash, be ready to get retailed.

When you say retailed you mean good deal or shafted?

Shafted!, I am thinking of changing mine to a business account.

I everything I get at holsten, I tell them to run it on our business account, and pay for it with my personal CC. Everything is actually affordable then.

I got an account at Airgas in Madison, Al.
Prices came down.

John is right.

Wish I had known to run it under a business account, I just got my 300# cylinder filled with 75/25 and it was $86. I will deffinately run it under my works account next time.

Well I paid 52 dollars.

$12.90 for a 150 bottle of Argon 2 days ago at Wesco. I have 3 company accounts with them. I buy 75/25, 100Argon, Helium, and Nitrogen.

Wish I could say the same for Helium. I got a 150 of that the other day and I think it was $149. I need to get into the Helium business.

If you don't have an account you are no one. Same goes for steel suppliers.

Valley Air is one of the cheapest places for gas....I know there is one in Decatur but not sure about Cullman. I'd be worth checking into.
