Rockwell HELP?

I just welded up my spider gears when I was reassembling it one side says bevel side. which side is that?

??? Got a pic?

I've never noticed that on one but I've got few out and I'll look and take a pic for you. But I'd just put it back together however it will go that's what usually do

Did you get this figured out? I have 3 chunks laying on the floor and can get a picture if you need it.

So are you saying your bull gears have that, too?

I remember when I was putting one of mine together I forgot which way in went back in. I never noticed anything like that on the side so I tried it both ways. It seemed to set up the same both ways so I just went with the second setup I did. Hasn't seemed to matter if I did get it wrong.

I could not see a difference either way. I put it back together with that side of the gear on the side facing the pinion. Seems to be fine.

I've taken a bunch of bunch of rock chunks apart and never noticed it either , I've always just centered them back up with the spur gear and ran em, never had a problem but
