Driveshaft?????

Im in the process of building some new driveshaft. The question I have is it commen to break the 1.375x16 splines.
I'm running 1410 joint but I have been able to find a 1.5 spline for a 2" tube.

Buggy specs are mildly built 6.0 LS th350-np205 43 Stickies on rockwells

I'm running some of both splines. The 1.5 spline was custom made at a machine shop to fit the smaller diameter tube....it's up front on my rig.

I been running in the rear the 1.375 spline. I wanted to build my own shaft and save a Lil money so I ordered some parts from Northern Drivetrain to try out. It's held up all summer so far just fine and my rig is super heavy with rocks and 54s. But to be fair I'm not bouncing and only at 400 ish hp.

I also run 1410 joints all around.

If you need any help look Athens driveline on here have been building shafts for a long time and are in the offroad world talk to John or Merle

rocks will help a bunch. If you had 4.10 gears or so, you would want a bunch more shaft. Having that much gearing after the driveshaft takes a lot of stress off of it.
