Well I don't see a reason for him to be banned for a ACCIDENT hell other people said he's a stand up guy and he's good with kids. He did send them a check. 500 isn't much but it's a damn good start. If my **** got bashed by somebody else at a public park I'm not gonna expect them to pay for the damages.

But you are not a child without a job **** head

The aop guy is a stand up guy seems like for replacing the 4 wheeler but it wasn't his responsibility and neither was it cab truck guy not everybody has money they can go drop on a brand new 4 wheeler.
That is why we have insurance, if you dont have insurance pay up

Just my 3 cents. And when you sign a waiver at aop does it not say their not responsible for property damage? Seems like it would. If their not responsible I don't see how cab truck guy would be. I hate that the kid got his feelings crushed but it's life. He got a brand new one out of the deal probably better than the one he had. And hats off to the guys trying to donate......kid got a ride. End of story. And if the guy gets banned from hardline that's BULLSHIT

You are wrong wrong wrong Cannt imagine why you would say any of these things....

Hit the proverbial nail on the head and drove it right out his ass. IT's called responsibility. The waiver you sign at the check in is not an insurance waiver in case you scratch your rig, it's a release of liability in case you get hurt (bump your head or snake bit, etc.) and says you are not holding the park responsible for damages. Maybe this will make it as clear as mud to some. :dunno:

The boy will have a smile on his face once again Saturday. He doesn't know what is happening, he just thinks he is coming to another event. But this great community has special plans. Haha

Since some of us don't do the book of faces, can someone post the video so we can all watch.

This the kind of publicity the off road community needs. There are way more good wheelers than bad. People like Tom are what it's all about. :woot: :woot:

How did it go? Did anyone get any pictures or video

IT WAS AWESOME. I have tried to write this reply a few times already, but have not found the words to truly express the happiness that 9 year old boy and his family experienced this past weekend. Garrett is a great young man and JR and Lori are some first rate parents and I wanted to make sure they remembered this day forever. First off, I want to thank Adam Woodlee and WOD for donating the Axle helmet which I had as many of the drivers autograph for him as possible with the short amount of time I had. As most people know, if you ride with me, you're going to need a good helmet. lol The look on Garrett's face when I gave it to him was absolutely priceless an it just continued to get better throughout the day.
As I said , it was only going got better. Prior to awarding Travis Lovett the $25,000 Bounty hill money he claimed that evening, Tom presented Garrett and his family with a Brand New Polaris 4 wheeler just like the one that was destroyed. This was what it was all about, seeing a 9 year old boy, whose dreams were crushed, brought back to life by the Wheeling community/ family that we are. It doesn't get much better than this. His father who already knew about this, was left speechless and was in tears as well as Garrett and his mother. Good things happen to good people. It will forever being on my mind and glad to say I was there and lived a small part of this great event.

Tom, if you happen to read this, God bless you for all you do and the generosity that you show this sport and all the lives you touch. You truly are a gentleman and someone everyone should get to meet sometime in there lives. You stand as a pillar in the wheeling community and an shining example of what it means to be a caring Christian man. Myself and everyone who attended will forever remember what you did for this family on October 10th, 2015. Thank you sir... :dblthumb:

This is awesome! I couldn't watch the video without tearing up, Tom is a top notch guy! The wheeling community does have a huge heart :dblthumb:
