4 seat Ftoy Chassis value?

What is a fully welded four seat Ftoy Chassis with a 4.3, TH350, 5 inch all pro leaves and seat mounts with Corbeau seats and 4 cyl 4.10 axles worth? Chassis, seats and suspension is brand new. Help me out guys.

It's dusty but recently finished.

i would want to make sure that it is a "real" Ftoy chassis frist....from the pictures it looks a little suspect to me.

All of the Ftoy chassis have and ID number that has been stamped into the cage behind the A pillar, that is one of the things that helps the FToy hold value in my opinion, because not just any one can build the Chassis itself.

There are only a hand full of people that build these chassis for Hendrix, mounting the chassis to the truck frame is left to the end user.

i would make sure it is a true Ftoy frist...if its not a Ftoy it is just a buggy and the value is up the the parties involved at that point in some respects.

also this buggy is a LONG way from being complete...if this is the current way it sits.

All of the little stuff that is not finished is some of the more labor intensive things... (wiring, plumbing, mounting things, shocks, seat tabs, brake pedals, exaust, fuel system, ect...) all of these things will take a lot of time if done right.

Doesn't really matter that it's an "ftoy" unless it's built to spec (which obviously it isn't by drivetrain).

It's just a boxy bread truck leaf sprung buggy.

Like it sits with seats and all I might give $2000 for it

Thanks for your help. It's not an exact ftoy Chassis .Maybe I was misleading it's based off an FT chassis. I understand that it's a long way from being finished i just want to see if there's a value to it right now. I'm not interesting in competing with it I just want to build a budget crawler out of it.

Budget and anything at that stage of a build do not go hand in hand. Better off buying something that is done. Less work and just about anything looks better than an FToy.

I'm really not concerned about looking good on the trail...lol

Budget wise, I'd rather start with a stock running vehicle than that.

Hard to beat a firewall buggy for budget. Saves all the wiring and plumbing and brake/steering mounting. You know the bulk of the work that isn't fun and costs a lot more and takes way more time than you expect...)

My budget is a working white mans budget :****: so Im not rich. I understand what it needs to be finished but at $1500 I think its going to be worth it.

It's worth that. Just don't go nuts on it. Keep it budget minded and you won't get yourself in a hole on it.

I was going to suggest $2000 to maaaaaybe $3000, so $1500 is a good deal based on what little we know about it.

I'd sell the motor and tranny, and buy the newly rebuilt 22re, tranny and t-case that's for sale on here, and throw in it. Just my worthless .02.

So are you a buyer or the seller? I assumed you were looking to ditch it. But I can't figure out which now.

I'd pass then. Too much work left to be done. You wanna wheel with your family, not diagnose why a little wire ain't working mid-way through gthe trail.
Go find you a beat FZJ80 Cruiser and take the family on level three trails. and when they aren't in there, you try your hand at level 4 trails.
