Any parks near Asheville NC worth trying??

I'm headed to Hickory NC in a few weeks and want to know if there's any parks in that area worth going to. Looks like Hickory is about 30 minutes Southeast of Asheville. Any recommendations

Plan a good hr to get to hickory from Asheville.

As folks said, there will be a ride Halloween weekend at the SHOP in Marion.

Otherwise, Gulches in SC & URE are the 2 closest.

The Flats is a good park. The owner is always changing things up and adding new trails and such.

I haven't been to the the SHOP yet but if I can get my crap together by that weekend I might try to make it up there.

I was at the flats saturday.. the trails have gotten a lot better but all can be done in just a few hours

My wife is taking two of our dogs to Hickory for a nkc American bulldog show. Looking like I will either stay home or just go with her to the show. Thanks for the input though.

Yes just sold my last one. We kept a very good looking female. Be several months before I have another litter. I've got two champions on the yard and one that were looking to grand champion before we breed. Very good breed. Big Gentle giants..
