76 chevy truck brake booster addon

Got my granddads 76 chevy c10 pickup. It is a low option truck, no power steering, no power brakes, am radio, vinyl seat. It has the original 350 motor and 350 transmission neither have ever been rebuilt. The original q-jet carb was removed, cleaned, and new gaskets put in last fall for the 1st time according to him. I am trying to get the truck back into good daily driving shape but want the upgrade of power brakes to make it stop better especially if I decide to tow my sxs. Comparing The more modern braking systems make it feel as if I am pulling a "Flintstones" to stop it.
