It amazes me that in the Jeg's catalog they sell a covered toggle switch for $26 and I can buy the same one from Radio Shack for $5. Curious where are guys getting their electrical goods, switches (toggles/rockers/etc), wire, and stuff? Any better place than Radio Shack?

Since your rig is a full bodied rig...the Radio Shack covered toggle with LED will work just fine...

BUT if your rig was a topless one like mine the switch will get wet...and it is not a "weather resistant" switch. So you would see some potential corrosion on the contacts.

You can barely see my in-cab winch controller above my steering wheel...

I like the stuff sold by Mr12volt.com

You mean Darren at 12voltguy.com?

I use him. He does some great work on panels and stuff. Custom engraving. He's a one stop shop.

However, if you are building your own stuff. You can get most anything you want at autozone. A SPST safety switch (ie. red cover) is about $5. And all the rockers and stuff you can order from them. If they don't have them, olympic has a nice selection on hand as does 4wheel parts.
