Ouch that sucks. But just as a lesson for all. This is one of the reasons why the DNR and FS dosent want people driving logging roads at night. Hope nobody was hurt in this incident but what if there was. could be a long time until help arrives.

Holy chit mang...that sucks! If the frame isn't bent though you may have gotten lucky. I would be getting a cheap DD car and start collecting parts for a swap

Yeah but after awhile it starts to suck. I'm at 1.5yrs now and the truck is getting a little annoying to drive all the time. And you need a rig for the week or more of down time while doing the swap

I do agree I got annoyed driving mine to the trails the year after so I am not sure I could do it as a DD. I guess with some 35's or even 33's it would be ok to DD.

With how narrow it is a toy axle isn't really an option for a Tacoma...but yeah...expect at least 5-6 grand including your new tires/wheels and rear lift

this guy drives the wheels off this truck everyday. since i did the swap 3 years ago he has put just over 82,000 miles on it . gone through i set of 38 tsls then 3 sets of 39.5 tsls and he had never owned a lifted truck before.

toy axle works just fine with 1.5 spacers its real close to the rear. toy axles need spacers when there in old trucks too so it doesnt matter. d44 is a bit wider if using waggy. pesonally i prefer the toy axle.

I trust you wern't injured in that bash.
I have a 2005 CBR600RR, but not really a winter driving vehicle. I'm going to see how much it is to fix it first, then go from there. I have got the insurance involved with it just becuase I don't have another car to drive. I'll see how it goes.

DD's with TSL's on it?...that just seems like a ridiculous waste of tire. I've put about 30k on mine so far and other than multiple bearing issues all has been good. But since a toy front with 1.5 spacers matches an IFS toy rear...it would still be narrower than a Taco rear. I am running a waggy44 with 1.5 spacers just to be able to keep my turning radius
