I'm trying to find out if there is a rear output shaft seal needed for my th400 before I bolt the Atlas adapter and case together. I know the atlas input is sealed but is there an additional seal that needs to go over the tranny's 32 spline output shaft to keep fluid from reaching the adapter...

Does anybody know if they make a spool for a 14 bolt that accepts thin gears? I have a CUCV set of tons so my 14 bolt has the detroit and the carrier spacing only accepts thin gears, 4.56 and up ratios. All I can find online is 4.10 and lower spools that require thick gears. Just wondering...
