Chop shop had my idea too... We ran into that same problem with my buddies Toyota last night horrible shackle angle. Took it off jackstands an put the truck on tires an it ended up being fine :awesomework:

Yeah I have about two grand between the arb longfields and other goodies in my front axle lol

Had a talk with one of the machinist at my work today an he said he could shorten a D60 for me for the front an rotate the knuckles for a better pinion angle and also respline axleshafts for me... Looks like a 60 is in my near future just for shits an gigs :fawkdancesmiley:

Thanks! It use to be my dd rig for a year or so until i bought my powerstroke....even drove it to Montana a few times!

After hearing everyone's arguments I'm just gonna keep the toy axles until I start having problems... But until then I'm just wheel her as much as I can! :beer:

Had that problem too an it was the copper line that hit the ring gear.

Your thinking the same way as me then! Don't wanna worry about the ol 40s tearing the yota axles apart on the trail lol

Yeaaa... I'll admit my first flop I was showing off for some girls. An I just had my buddy help measure it an I'm at 76 inches wide but my truck it still kinda tall. I'm working on building taller shock hoops to put the coilovers through the hood since they can be adjusted down any further. :cheer:

My toyotas got a 26.5 in belly height on 40s an is 73inches wide to the outside of the tires with 1.5 in spacers...

I was thinking that since their so heavy they'd keep me planted to the ground better in off camber situations than a dinky little toyota axle... already flopped the yota a few too many times an just don't want to again until I get an inner cage.

Is it worth it to you guys to ditch the yota axles an swap in a shortened dana 60 front an a 14 bolt out back? I have completely built axles now an haven't had to many problems with them but I'm looking to just get a little wider stance an to be more stable an durable in the long run... What are...

Didn't get out too much last month but caught a few steelies on the hump but mainly still silvers. Heard all the local rivers had good runs of steelhead coming in :D
