    Reiter Rock Crawling Competition

Yes! I've been trying to find the owner for years to try and buy it back. It's been sold a few times since I sold it. I had thought someone might know him since obviously they are involved enough to have heard about the competition and attend. ~T.J.

    Reiter Rock Crawling Competition

Guys, does anyone know who owns this truck? ~T.J.

    Heavy duty ball mount

I know it's an expensive solution, but it would be safer; what about a weight distribution system? You can get a drop shank with the weight ratings and length you need, plus the weight distribution system would help with towing stability and the leverage on the hitch itself... Or, you could...

local place to get good metal hole saws

I think the speed/feed and cutting oil has a lot to do with it too, just like a drill bit. That said, I like the Lennox ones myself. ~T.J.

    New Truck

Indeed. I have been going back and forth on this for a while because the tires are basically 1/2 ton truck tires and will hold the weight, but they won't let me inflate them to the correct pressures, so steering and handling are affected. Thus, I am back to replacing them again, haha. Thanks...

    I Need Diesel Tuner Education

You know, I did look into that briefly. Kind of caught my attention due to the lower price, but I didn't see as much about it floating around on the web as EFI Live. First hand experience with it? ~T.J.

    I Need Diesel Tuner Education

Yeah, I talked to ATP trucks who have the Idaho Rob tunes. I understand it's an interface, that's what I was looking for more than a "box tuner". I'd like to see more about whats going on and dabble a little in it myself since I was tuning my STi swapped WRX. ATP pretty much answered...

    I Need Diesel Tuner Education

Thanks, Jeff. EFI Live sounds more along the lines of what I was doing with open source tuning previously as far as capability. It seems the difference lies mostly in application (diesel instead of gas) and cost. Looks like EFI Live is going to run up to $1,000 including the 5 map switch and...

    I Need Diesel Tuner Education

Is there a link you know of somewhere that explains these diesel tuners and how they work or compares their functions/abilities you could point me to? If not, continue reading and see if you can help me out, haha. It seems there are the "big brand" tuners out there such at Edge, Banks...

    New Truck

That's the plan. We wanted something that could be used as a truck to haul stuff from the hardware store, tow just about anything I could attach to it, and yet still be comfortable/luxurious inside and have room in the back for my son and his rear facing seat when we decide to hit the road for...

    New Truck

Thanks. I'm hoping it's going to be a good truck. I sure like driving it already though. ~T.J.

    New Truck

Well, I finally bought myself something I could tow with when the time comes. I thought I would post so I can hear all the bad things people have to say about it being a GMC and not a Dodge :fawkdancesmiley: It's a 2006 (LBZ and 6 speed Allison of course) fully loaded Sierra SLT 2500 4x4 and...

4/20 after Seattle supercross hit n run

I noticed it was a flat bed with single rear wheel too, that definitely jumped out at me. I will keep my eyes open also. ~T.J.

SB5800 Allows Street Plating "Converted" Dirtbikes

Very nice! Were those the tires on it when you had it inspected? Fender too? The way it's written it sounds like you need different tires and longer fenders and such. It would save a lot of work if you slid it by just like that! ~T.J. EDIT: This is from the bill in the link from the first...

    xrc winches with sythetic line

Last time I looked into it, it was actually cheaper to buy the regular XRC then buy a name brand (winchline.com) synthetic line to put on it. That also gave you a steel cable as a backup. FWIW, I love my XRC. Had a solenoid die, but got great service and new one to me for free, not even...

No More grey area if SB-5366 passes

FWIW, a DUI is a gross misdemeanor, and sometimes a class C felony if there are certain circumstances. Little bit worse than a misdemeanor like this. Either way, I agree that I don't like the way this is worded... ~T.J.

SB5800 Allows Street Plating "Converted" Dirtbikes

That is absolutely true. I honestly hope they don't pass some of the stuff out there. Tose flush mount LED signals you can barely see for isntance, I hate that crap. I buy bright colored gear, reflectors, make my lights brighter, etc. I rewired the signals on my CBR to be running lights also...

SB5800 Allows Street Plating "Converted" Dirtbikes

It doesn't have turn signals, so they would be brand new (and most likely LED), but it does have an LED bulb in the tail/brake light already. It also has a stator mod for a brighter headlight as I recall. Being a dirt bike and not a true dual sport it needed any help it could get to keep the...

SB5800 Allows Street Plating "Converted" Dirtbikes

Thanks for the link. I was looking through the bill itself which lists all the revisions to the RCWs currently in effect as well as new RCWs, but I only skimmed it. EDIT: I don't see why it wouldn't? All it needs is a horn, some LED turn signals, and a longer fender. It already has fold...

SB5800 Allows Street Plating "Converted" Dirtbikes

This was mentioned in another thread a while back, but I think this is pretty cool. As of 1/12/12, SB5800 went into effect which allows the plating of dirtbikes following an inspection at an approved facility (NOT the WSP) such as a repair shop or dealer. From what I know, there is a $100 fee...
