    Powerstroke!

the recall that I know of is for the CPS. makes the truck hiccup or stall at any time. Just had mine done. Shouldn't only make a diff on hot startups but it'd be worth a try. ps CPS=Cam Position Sensor...and it fixed my hiccup dying prob that had started lately. I've carried a spare with me for...

    Powerstroke!

IDM is the injector driver module. Looks like the computer and sits right next to it. It gives the electronic pulses to the injectors at voltages between 90ish and 130sish volts. The more volts the better the power. Older rigs had lower voltage so people started swapping a resister in there to...

    Powerstroke!

the glowplugs don't activate above ~65*...unless your air temp sensor aint' quite working correctly and yours is probably hanging somewhere on the fender if its got an open element intake on it. Get your butt on over to nwforddiesels forum and post up your hot start prob. btw, the 10k was a...

Any spots local to taco/oly that sell brushed stainless sheet?

Looking for a piece 19 1/8" X 23 1/4" and must have the edges cut very nicely. Not sure where on the southend (taco/oly) people are getting their steel lately (especialy stainless cut to size). So any leads would be appreciated. Thanks. PS The sheet can be VERY thin (16 gauge etc).

    Hey Fullylimp.

You've got a wheeler:fawkdancesmiley: We figured you're a bit too distracted(gf)lately to work on it :; btw, whatsup with one fulltime cop for 30 campers? :wtf: Heavy, heavy patrols but no undue harassment that we saw.

    Rimrock

Dude! That mud is like brick mortar! Once it dries a pressure washer doesn't even faze it! Oh...and it stinks really bad too:eeek: As for wheeling over there in the toy. You can do it but not on all the trails. Stay away from pucker ridge. The bottom of short and dirty was a bit stressful...

    Straps or chains?

I use the straps. The 10,000 lb rated ones. Two in the back and one up front. All of them on the axle tubes. I'd consider chain if the binders and the "non rust" type chain were more affordable and I had a good secure place to store (lock) them on the trailer when not in use.

    Saving cd players from dust

Yah, the mp3 player sounds like crap compared to the flash drive or memory card on my stereo.

    Saving cd players from dust

Better yet...try the VR3 stereo at Wally World that takes flash drives and memory cards in addition to CDs(why though?) and an mp3 player plugin. No skipping, no discs, no sand no flies! woops got a little bit of the iraqi information minister there:D CDs are almost obsolete...for obvious reasons.

Advice on Commuter 4x4 pickups, suvs?

I've got a freak then cause consistently over the last 6 years and 105,000 miles I get 280-300 miles on a fillup of 14 gallons with my STOCK height, STOCK tires (235s), k&n, 5spd, 3.0 v-6. Most people, especially those with autos or lifted or bigger tires, get mid teens with these motors. I...

Advice on Commuter 4x4 pickups, suvs?

So you want fuel economy but also a 4x4 with a lift and tires...hmmmm those usually work against each other. Toyota diesel pickup...if ya can get one across the border. Friend of mine has one and gets 35mpg. Hybrid suv...if ya can afford one you probably don't need to worry about fuel costs...

    Fawk 10 Bolts

uh yah! It should be fun though:clappy: If you can find a turbo400/np205 that'd be a nice setup with a big block chevy. Go witha 14bolt full floater for the rear and you already plan on a 60 front. PS Ever go out to juniper dunes? They are right outside of town for ya.

    Fawk 10 Bolts

What? People actually mean that? Wow! Ok, SOME of the stuff is SLIGHTLY stronger on a dana 44...but it really can't be worth the effort of swapping a whole axle just for that...well it wouldnt' be worth it for me:redneck: . Save up for a 60 and you'll be happy. That is some nice carnage you...

    6 stud !

Why are you polishing six studs on your living room floor? What this...some sort of :rb: party?:flipoff: Seriously, those knuckles are the shiznit for toy axles. One step above the DIY 5th stud/bolt knuckles. SO when you gonna swap in a 60 center section :flipoff:
