the 7.3 has issues big time, the DT360 would be a good swap and you can more likely than not get it for under $1000 too. i didnt figure it had the 360 thats why i suggested the swap.

or instead of puttin ford crap in there you can go with a DT360 or 466, the 5&2 should have a sae bolt pattern that will bolt straight up to the 360. compare the dt360 to a 5.9 cummins, about the same cubes and just a hair long but with wet sleeve design and cheaper to find.

Correct me if I'm wrong but aren't there "street legal" headlocks? Like H1 wheels with the PVC insert?

Never seen either of them, haven't had a rig capable in too many years. I would like a place to wheel and would be willing to throw some going and some hard work twords making this happen. Hell if I could afford it my old man has a excavator I could throw into the mix.

Got the spare trans in, haven't got the old one apart yet though. Driving around with pretty much no exhuast cus i haven't had the chance to weld the damn thing back together. Gonna rebuild the orig trans and stick it back in when I can afford GOOD parts and a big trans cooler. Took untill 1230...

So got a set of 35"s on my 96 chevy with NO lift today!! Then my trans took a ****, thankfully I got a spare that I'm swapping in tomorrow. I can go backwards just no foreword movement..... Boo. Pics will come tomorrow.:rb:
