    Seems to me there is some sort of pressure valve in the power steering system that if it goes wonky the pressure goes way up. I think in the pump.... Might research that a little.

    As said, motorcraft or Beru ONLY. If you want to upgrade the relay look at Stancor. I've been running one for a few years with no problems and Napa ones fail at less than a year if they even work out of the box.

    this is mine....http://nwforddiesels.com/yabbfiles/Attachments/truck_97_f350_001__Small__001.jpg There are a few guys that have fabbed together hooks that come out of the bumper holes and looke really good...I'd try something like that if I didn't have the bumper.

    I suppose that could be too, but there are plenty of 15* pumps out there putting out just as much psi as 17* pumps. What's the stock ICP for both SD and OBS? Obviously a tuned truck throws all that out the window but stock for stock anyone know the difference?

    FWIW- the earlier injectors (AA's mostly) seem to last longer than later Super Duty (AD) injectors. More than one person has commented the same... Like they made a switch in material used for the bodies at some point and the bodies get worn faster to the point where they are not rebuildable...

    Sounds like your first order of business is to try it out....If it doesn't have enough power for you then turn it up a little....I'd install a pyrometer no matter what you do with it though.

    In 76 they updated the frames. You can tell if it a newer frame because it widens in the middle. The rear of the frame is wider than the front essentially giving you outboard springs without outboarding them. You won't find any factory CJ that is fuel injected... If it's a factory 3 speed...

    You've got the same gauge I do..... You're right on the "N" and the "M". That's where mine is at the times described. it's probably closer to 10-12v when the GP's are on and the truck isn't running yet.

    New to chipping

    I'm saying that whoever you have burn custom tunes for a PSD is most likely going to use a TS blank. All the names I listed above are good tuners. My next reburn I think will be by Matt at Gearhead automotive. I've heard really good things about his tunes.
