    Cj7 steering issues

RedneckRam On my Scrambler I had a Waggy Dana 44, spring under and over with 36" tire and had bad D-wobs, tried all the things you did to no avail I ended up having to install a power assisted steering ram/stabilizer to resolve my death wobs. See link above for pricing, totally worth it, fixes...

what kind of rig for NW wheeling (coming from AZ)

Get rid of the Toyota parts (replace with 60's), install V8, add a roof, get the heater working (at least so it blows on your feet) feck the windshield. Buy the Helly-Hanson wetsuit (poly Bibs and Jacket) and learn how to wear layers under it. 60's and V8 are really helpful around here (or...

Dana 44 upgrade you tell me?

My experience was by the time I was done with replacing all the broken Dana 44 axle shafts I could have paid for the D60 hubs and stub shafts and R&P. Then just would have had to come up with the core 60. IN the end I found the D60 to be a better fit for my application and driving style. Like I...

Dana 44 upgrade you tell me?

Easiest upgrade would be to buy the strongest Alloy shafts and upgraded axle shafts. However they will wear out eventually. Most durable upgrade would be the Dana 60. Now is a good time to get into a 60 since the demand is low. The swap may or may not be straight forward (some modification...

The only fix for Carb issues is Fuel Injection, everything else only make slight improvements, but you will stiil have that "one angle" where the **** floods out. I guess that could be considered part of the challenge! LOL It get friggin old after a while though....

    No spark

Possibly the Flywheel position sensor (not sure if that's the actual name), it's mounted in your bell housing (at the top) that's how your ignition is timed. If it's dead or possibly just unplugged you will get the symptom you describe.

    Leaf Spung Buggy

Once again I'm not bashing him for using leaf springs, I think it's great he's making his own ride and learning tons of **** in the processs, my whole point is leaf spring suspensions are not the greatest on the planet, for the same or a little more money he could have pulled a coil spring, not...

    Leaf Spung Buggy

Yeah, I suppose the "upgrade" path works but is it more economical than piecing together some kind of alternative to leafs in front, thats all I'm saying. And no doing it completely "Ken Style" is not what I was advocating, (no .125" walled square tube link extentions) just the principal behind...
