    marlin cromo axles?

Keep an eye out for a used set of Longs, they usually go for less then $750..... And a stock set of birfs can survive the busy, but your winch may not like you. Or you will be spending 2k on a winch that might survive......

Toyota people, please help. Need suggestions...

Most toyota motors that have a belt are non interference motors. If it has a timing chain it is most likely an interference motor.

    Detroit acting funny?

Depends on your budget and the use of your truck. A full detroit is much better then a lunch box style. A spool has less moving parts to go bad, but is hard on tires for a street rig. ARB or E-Locker are a good mix but both have slight down sides. In many cases you get what you pay for.

    Detroit acting funny?

Take it apart and see what you find. Internet diagnostics are only as good as the information supplied. Broken axle or more correctly a broken axle shaft or drive shaft. You may have stripped the splines or actually managed to break the shaft. You will not know until you pull it apart. You...

Have you tried decent shocks? From the sounds of what you are saying. Good shocks will absorb bumps better then adding a leaf.

    toyota clutch style posi?

New clutch packs, I believe they are rebuildable. Toyota parts. And it might be correct to run a friction modifier. They are made for on road use, not lifting a tire abuse

my 22re died. help! mystery problem

Install fuses!!!!!!!! Get a fuse block of some sort, it should be fused. At the very least install some inline fuse holders. Just make sure they are good for the amp draw of those wires, but not too much. Glad to hear the truck is up and running.

    Little Gibby's 45 MB

Winch control should be easy to reach when fully straped into the seat along with other critical controls. If you cant easily reach them when straped in tight you will leave the belts lose to make things easier. I am pretty sure you have thought of this and this small of a rig it may not be an...

my 22re died. help! mystery problem

You have let the smoke out. Remove the smoked parts. Replace and do a nice splice. Check for a short somewhere else. The plug would have the most resistance and it may just be where the smoke was able to escape. The problem might be elsewhere along those wires. Fix problems. Start...

    v8 swap in 84 toy

THe fj radiator will go between your frame rails to the bottom of your hood. I dont have dimensions infront of me at this time. You are going to need more then that for a fan. A good electric fan is $200 plus and that does not includ good relays or a control of some sort.
