    BeerJ's BuzzBuggy Build-o-rama!

The capacitor filters definitely help with electrical noise. And to get the vox working without picking up engine noise and what not you basically have to put the foam of the mic touching your lips and then pull it away enough it doesn't annoy you. Make sure your talking directly into the flat...

TH350 - where can i measure oil temperature

I used an aluminum block tapped three times to Tee one into the output to the cooler. Gives you an idea of how hot stuff is getting. Same theory of getting oil pressure after your heads and coolant temps at the cylinders.

    Fuel Pumps That Suck

If you run the pump below the tank even if the outlet is at the top it really only pulls to prime. After that its "gravity fed" a bit so it doesn't cause the pump to struggle as hard.

    90's throw back....Manche build

This thread is motivating and defeating but still well worth reading. Fantastic work if i haven't mentioned it before. Side note multiple Chevy Luvs under 500 on Craigslist out here in California if anybody ever really wants one.

    Wiring relay advice and help

Relays are useful for turning on multiple accessories or high amp/high draw accessories with one switch or with a small or under rated switch. Like turning on 1000 watts of lights with a micro toggle switch and more importantly for turning off things when you need them to shut off. High current...

    Unflip dana 300

I've tried searching and have been unable to find any info on unflipping a Dana 300. My good buddy has a Dana 300 that has 4:1 kit and has been flipped. Bought it that way with a jeep project. Is it possible to unflip and return it to passenger drop? I throw myself on the mercy of hard line for...

    Toyo MTs

I run 35" mt's on my tow rig. So far good traction on and off highway not crazy loud but definitely mud tires. They are e rated so they have heavier sidewalls and are stiffer than bfg ats I was running before.

Tow rig Suspension and Axle upgrades questions (4th Gen Dodge)

Re: Tow rig Suspension (4th Gen Dodge) I'd say run Carli or KORE front coils and biggest shocks your willing to spend the money on. And the rear mini packs with airbags if you need the extra firmness. I have KORE coils and leaf pack on mine and it made a substantial difference over the stock...

Brakes, Manual vs Booster Opinions Wanted

I have the same setup. Ford hp60 in front stock two piston calipers and a 14 bolt rear with a lugnut 4x4 kit. If you can boost your brakes do it. I have 7/8 wilwoods and I can't lockup. It will stop, even on the steep stuff but more brake with less leg would be nice. I'm trying to source a...

Reaching out since my buggy don't run and I cant be out playing in it today. Du I have a 4L60E that has a Transgo stick shift kit and a 46-MOD (vacuum modulated line pressure). It bypasses all the electronic control and makes it basically a manual valve bodied trans. My problem is the trans...

    Garage wiring help

I would suggest using copper something around 4 or 6. I usually oversize things a little in the interest of mistakes or additions later but 125 feet to go size difference might make enough cost impact to justify smaller wire. You can find wire size recommendations with this calculator...
