is there any good websites that provide any useful info on tuning shocks other than... "we tuned these shocks" it seems like no one knows anything about tuning

my shocks have no compression and good/stiff rebound. i pulled them apart and the bigger/around shim was on the wrong side of the piston/valve, so i moved it to the other side so it actually covered the drilled ports all the way while still revealing some of the machined ports, it made...

i hooked up to a scanner today(OBDll) and got some codes. p0100 says VAF/MAF circuit malfunction. i was wondering if having the cruise control servo unpluged would have anything to do with that. I took it out and ran the throttle cable right to the throtle linkage.

yes it was a 2wd truck, so i guess that would be an easy conversion, no different from doing a sas on a 4x4. on a lighter note i know someone who bought a 2wd 4runner older body style late 80's that had the same frame as a 2wd truck with 5 lug. maybe they put a 4runner body on a truck frame...
