    Pulled a dead auto from a 94 4.0L Grand. Been looking and talking to tranny shops and bone yards. Is there that much difference between years and the 5.2 vs the 4.0's? They are all saying the electronic are different and almost needs to be year specific. Appears to be he 42RE. Any feedback...

    Got the car in back in the garage and looked at the aft side of the transaxle and guess what I saw,, YEP, a filler plug, Bet I left the diff. dry,, 50 miles up the freeway and there goes the diff......... At least I know what happened now.
