    Im at work or I would do some searching but thought I would throw this out for some info. My dad threw a rod in his 97 Grand Cherokee 4.0. He found a 97 4.0 from a cherokee. Interchangable? I know they have different trans. Interchangeable?

    the 4L60E seem to be a weak transmission. my parents was rebuilt at 120K on their 2003 and my suburban 2004 was at 135K. the 5.3 with regular maintenance runs great. crappy gas mileage
