Man you guys are really lucky to have those kinds of trails. All those natural obstacles are sooo sweet! We aint got **** like that around here. Its depressing to not have crap for 4x4 trails.
I stay on trail as much as possible but in the winter time its really doesnt do any damage to the land. Plus I have always wanted to go down hill in deep snow. I was very impressed with how good my truck churned through it.:masturbanana[1]:
Goin up the first part of the trail was easy.
But once we got to the first switchback it was all freshies. Wade started plowing trail with his automatic 4runner with 4.88s and 31in swampers. He did good.
Then it was my turn to plow some trail.
Baja Claws are AMAZING!!!
These Baja...
So I finally got done rebuilding my passenger hub and putting new brake pads and a few other doo dads. So of course we went out wheeling to see how we did. We got to the trail head and of course there is a stuck stock chevy. So we pull him out and continue on down the trail. pics and video...
Hells yeah!! When we go drift busting you gotta have ay least my size tire but man would I kill for some 38.5X16X15 baja claws. I have seen yotas do amazing things. There is also this one yota i go wheeling with that has 35X15.5X15 bajas and a turbo 22RE and he is pretty much unstoppable. He...
Went out into the early snow we got here. Got some random pics from the weekend.
Yes did some snowboarding some rail jibbin!
Hanging out on the front bumper like all you other yota freaks!!!
Driving back through the canyon got some cool fog pics!
Well if we had rock crawling here I would be doing that instead, but we are very limited to what we can wheel around here. So we make do with what we got. Lots of snow, mud and water, and hillclimbs no rocks.
Have you ever done one? The feeling you get when you pull through water up to your ass is amazing. Plus it takes big Cajones or a small brain to risk your truck against deep water.:awesomework:
I was in the water for about 20 seconds. I didn't think there were any openings in my diffs or tranny. just tiny seals that water could leak in but not much. well i am gonna go through it again this weekend and film it. Then I will check my fluids.:fawkdancesmiley:
maybe I should check that. I just got all my fluids changed in the runner too. Does water really get in that easy. I would think there would be a very little bit.
nope we even got a little snow this morning. It is a little warmer over by missoula. bozeman is in the southwest corner of montana right above yellowstone park.
yeah water is pretty scarry but its so awesome to make it through and get that feeling. Nothing cooler than seeing water rushing into your truck then right when your ass is about to get wet you make it through. There is still some water in my truck.:haha:
So we got a crap load of rain the past few days. So we went and checked out a mud hole that was overfilling. it was probably 4ft deep. So ploped it in 4lo and hammer down. my feet got all wet. I did get a little water in my distributer though. enjoy pics
going slow through the first bit...
