I thought their chassis used the IRS with the 3rd in one of the arms? Yeah, he said that they left the short course gears in the axles. One of the commenters mentioned the same thing about him not overdriving the car.

They spread the events out each day, and gave the UTVs their own race vs with EMC. Qualifying on Tues & Wed, UTV on Thurs, EMC Fri, 4400 Sat. The grudge match after the UTV race last night was pretty cool. Was kinda hoping that it would have a slower section to bunch the cars back up...

Anyone watch the live stream of their Annual Meeting? It was announced last minute, as usual. I would guess that it was full of unanswered questions and empty promises.

Re: I'm guessing it's too be in clean air, but why are these mega trucks so tall? I get the suspension geometry and tires, but the body/engine are completely above all that. Feel like it could be much more stable to get the cg down more. Also some shock tuning is a necessity at those speeds.

Re: Re: Ultimate Adventure Style Ride - Any Interest? It's not being worried as much as bad luck, but we wheel hard. Most of my group has had a rough time at Golden mountain & windrock. Stuff like broken kingpins/knuckles, busted fuel cells, cracked transmissions. We have fixed/patched them...

Re: Re: Re: We've talked about a similar trip around here with a mix of trails: 1 day at URE, 1 day at DPG, 1-2 days at Gulches, 2 days at The Flats, & 2 days at The SHOP. This schedule wouldn't be pushing it & could handle a slightly larger group and vehicle mix.

Re: Re: I would agree if I lived in the same proximity to those parks as you. With a 4-5 hrs drive to any of those parks, the overall cost should be lost since you aren't adding all those towing miles. Plus 1+ week might be easiest for many to get off vs 1-2 days for 4-5 weeks...

Re: As John mentioned, the trails are improving and there is plenty of promise there. Even if there isn't much to ride now, if we continue to go and show support and offer suggestions, it will get better. As said the terrain is right and owners seem eager and willing.

With the engine being an Ecotec, I would imagine they are flipped lp thirds, but I cannot confirm.
