Hey guys I'm not really a newb I just lurk a lot more than I post.
I have an opportunity to buy what seems to be a nice Cummins, I just have no idea what to look for or what is fair, what to expect, blah blah blah.
Truck is a '95 2500 12V CC LB NV4500, and it has 143k. In my part of the NW this is a pretty desireable truck but I don't know if that means much. It's a 2 owner truck, really clean dark blue with a couple paint chips just starting to show. It has newer 285s on it and I don't know how it's geared.
I don't know what else to say about it, I work with the current owner who is old and wants to buy a gasser Chevy for the ride and silence. He's babied this truck the 8-9 years he's owned it but I wouldn't put it past him to "forget" something either.
SO, where do I go from here? I'm getting financing figured out but haven't said I'd buy it yet, and I've spent some time searching around forums to find good info but I have to get some work done too. I don't know what other info I can give but all input is appreciated. Thanks
