The standing groups were 25yds, the bench ones I moved it out to 50yds.

Hit the hills today for a little shooting, wheeling, and gold panning and had a little friendly competition with a buddie with a nearly identical 10/22.
my first 5, crouched, iron sights, at 50 yards.
second set of 5, crouched, iron sights, 50 yards. (Left target, same as the first)
My third set I decided to try standing and there weren't enough on the paper to get a pic of. :redneck:

Went out today to test a pistol and do a little .22lr rifle action. We even shot a bit at 200yds and were hitting a steel plate 18"x18" no problem. :awesomework:
This was with my Savage Stevens Model 80 Series A 22lr w/ Simmons Blazer 3-9x40mm scope.
I was having troubles with the scope sliding forward and loosing zero, so there were a lot of "WTF is that?" targets today. But some turned out ok when the scope was mounted solid.

This one had 15rds shot with the scope coming loose, then another 15rds shot with it tightened back down... I'll let you figure out which is which. :redneck:

200 yards is a looooooong way for a .22. Nice shooting.

Right on! What type of CCI did you get? I get the blazer by the metric ton and get a few boxes of the CCI mini mag every so often.
I need to get out and shoot. :booo:
CCI standard 40 grain 1070fps. Also picked up Winchester Super X hollow point High velocity 1330 fps , 37 grains. Then got Fiocchi high velocity 38 grains. Doesn't give me a fps

Here's a couple I have shot recently. Still trying to find an accurate .22 ammo I like
10/22 4x scope 5 rounds at 50yds off a bench with Fed American Eagle ammo
And here is my other ".22"
10x scope 5 rounds 100yds prone with 69g SMK handloads
