22re with VTEC???

My 85 toyta pickup was a factory EFI truck that someone had put a carbed motor in within its life span. Well all I had to do with the wiring was rewire the harness that goes to the intake manifold and it fired right up like a normal EFI truck would. It ran great and wonderful for a few months, then a about 3 months ago it ran sluggish till about 3000 RPMs then it would run great like I was cracking VTEC in an Integra. It idles great, freeway driving is great if your around or above 3000 RPMs, but around town it runs like a shitty adjusted weber that buck, popped and backfire. Anyone have an idea what I should try or look at?

Rus- that was when it was carbed lol.

And I have figured it out. It runs great if I take the FPR vac line off so it gets maximun amount of fuel pressure. It always have to be the simplest thing that pisses you off the most.

I had a similar problem and it was my o2 sensor.
