I drove down to california valentines weekend and picked up my high school sweet heart. I brought an extra frame that I've started a Mustang II front, 4link coil over rear, and small block chevy on. When I get the garage situated I'll get pics of the frame in proggess but for now heres the complete truck. Also looking for a local street rod forum.

Nothing ruins a bad ass old Ford like putting a Chevy between the framerails......:booo:

Nice truck...I just hate seeing chevy motors put in 99% of em.

Too bad about the motor but otherwise the truck is cool as hell:awesomework:

I modeled my front clip from a "Foose" inspired '34 ford

sick truck ... did you roll this exact truck in high school .... and a :puke:chev motor in a ford  I have my first still ......1979 chev van... no one can say anything funny about it that I haven't already herd... yes I did roll a 79 van to high school.... and no I don't drive by telemetry schools lookin for little kids

Yup, this is my same high school truck. I felt the same about ford tough with chevy stuff until we put a 302/c6 in my dads '35 panel. WE had to hack the chit out of the x-member to stuff the tranny in there and had to raise the floor, and hack the firewall. Personally I'd rather bite the bullet on the drivetrain than hack up early iron.

TRUE THERE. DONT HACK IT UP A MOTOR IS A MOTOR THEY ALL DO THE SAME THING. BESIDES YOU GOT IT CHEAP AND IT RUNS LIKE A RAPED APE. YOU SHOULD PUT A 12 VALVE IN IT AND USE IT AS YOUR TOW RIG. :redneck: :haha:

Need more details on that Truck! Sometimes, pictures just aren't enough!

Stock wishbone/buggy spring, buick 231/t350, '37 juice brakes, Got it when I was 7, tore it down at 14, back together at 17, got to drive it to Hot August Nights in reno at 17, 3 blow outs trashed the fenders and now has a rod knock. That brought me to start a frame off with a spare frame from a parts truck with nice suspension and a small block, power steering and brakes. This way it will be a little safer on the road cause it wont see a trailer unless its broke down.

It'll be a tow rig. I've got a '37 tear drop to go behind it and it'll probably drag the sami around a time or two.
