44 arm torque?

wha size are the studs? you don't torque the arms, you torque the nuts on the studs.

I can tell you if you tell me what size the stud is and what grade they are..
but its going to be limited to grade 8, as any higher torque will encroach on the yeild point of hte base metal.

I used a 5/8th grade 8 bolt on my crossover arm and acording to SAE it has a assembly torque of 215 ft/lbs! I think I only torqued it to ~120 ft/lbs, and used copius amounts of locktight.

5/8 GRADE 8 80% preload.. torque should be 175 Foot lbs. or 240 N/m.
Grade 5 would be 124 Ft/lbs

alot of manufactures use 75%, we use 80.

215 lbs would put you at yeild of hte base metal.
