probably been asked before but neighbor has ford dually with a 6.9 with a banks turbo only 40k on a dealer install.trucks in good shape its a 85 he wants 1900 good or bad?

That's probably low end, a good deal if it's in good shape, especially with that mileage. I have an '87 F-350 XLT Lariat SRW, 6.9 with an ATS dealer install, I'm at 255K, with almost no work required. It won't run with the modern diesels, but it will outlast them. I only get about 15 mpg, unless I keep it at 65 on the freeway, then I can bump 17.

that sounds like a good deal. A buddies dad has a 85 with the ATS kit on it. He totally rebuild the truck a couple years ago and put a np 435 behind it with a gear vendor OD. It actually pulls really well for what it is. damned near keeps up with the new stuff out there.
