I'm looking to put a new air intake on my 2000 7.3 Excursion. I already have a Gale Banks Power pack system on it that has replaced the stock air filter with a K&N filter. I've heard that the stock air box wants to vibrate apart and can let air bypass around the filter. I've been reading up on aFe, K&N and others but there are just too many choices.
What's a good product to replace my stock air box?

I have an AFE stage 2 intake. Well worth the extra pennies over the stage one. My buddy has the stage one, and you might as well keep the stock air box.

My systems look close to the samething. I dont know what the price if of the K&N, but i do know they are proud of their name.

The battery "relocation" is really no big deal. You pull the battery out, put the new intake heatguard in, and bolt the battery back down. Really simple to do.

After doing some research I'd have to put Tymar at the top of the list. More air flow with better filtering:011:
And...a great price.
