97 grand qeustion

so im looking at a 97 grand cherokee, but the guys says the stock alarm will shut the truck down while driving.you pull the battery for a few days and it will start back up and drive for a while, is there way to bypass the alarm. or reprogram it?:beer:

i got a 95 grand cherokee and mine does that too. waht you do is you put the key in the drivers door and lock and unlock it.
