Ok guys. I've been a lurker on here for a while, funny to follow threads and just be a member. But I figured I would post this up. My first "hardcore" build thread.
I'm not new to jeep stuff or offroad. Not your typical new guy. But enough talking. Onward with photos
This is when I first got it. Been sitting for months
Then I tore it apart.
Then it was time to get my donor apart
Then it's time to get it put in there.
Then it's time to get the wiring done and get it fired. Which is where I'm at now. I have most of it done. And yes I know there is a company to build me a harness but it's 750 bucks and I don't have that. So I am dealing with a rats nest of wires in the process
And after I get this done I do have a set of Dana 60s out of a 2500 cummins. Which I know are not a prime axle. But it's what I could pick up for fairly cheap. And I can always get them swapped out later. And they will be better then the 30/35 combo.
And also keep in mind. I'm partial to not cross breed brnads. Chevy into a jeep.l is not right to me. And I had the donor vehicle anyway. So it was prime for me.
