Got a 99 passat with a bad comfort control module. Dealer here wants $450 just for the part. Car ain't worth much more than that. Seeing if any of y'all can get a better deal.
Thanks.

From my Audi experience, get the part number and make damn sure it doesn't have to be programmed to the car. Most all of their control modules have to be programmed to the car so that they work properly. Few of any are going to be plug and play.

This is what I'm most worried about. I wanted to get a new one so maybe this would't happen. That's why I was staying away from a used module. It's not my car but dealership wanted $950 to fix it so they asked if I could swap it out cheaper. Just trying to help them save some cash if I can.
