Are birfield rings re-usable?

Looks like the birf I blew up had a ring on it... Are they a one time use? Or is it possible to swap them?

My neighbor reuses his when he used to crap birfs...er, crack...:haha:
Just gotta make sure they are a snug fit, or tack them on in a few places once pressed on...:awesomework:
