Do any of you boys know how companies are measuring wheel width on custom made beadlocks? Like the trail ready HD aluminum beadlock. They say it 8.5". What are they measuring? Inside of inner lip to outside of inner bolt ring? This would mean that actual width would be their measurement plus whatever the outer tire bead thickness is? I know some beads can be 3/4" thick.
I know a guy who has MRW double beadlocks, and he said the advertised width was from outside to outside of inner bolt rings, this actually means that the wheel when mounted will be about 1.5" wider than advertised, thats enough difference to need to know before ordering to get what you're really wanting.
