Best Off Road Helmet?

What is your guys opinion of the best helmet to wear while crawling?

I wear a Giro Shiv snowboarding helmet. It has removable ear covers, so you can remove for summer. Get one that is comfortable or you will not wear it.

I'd say a good DOT rated half helmet or one like John wears for trail riding is great.

When things get really serious I would imagine a motocross helmet would be your best bet...

Those are both options without spending KOH money on a full race helmet.
