CCOR (Classic City Off-Road) is located in Athens, GA right outside of downtown. They keep busy with many different types of projects, from their own Rockwell single seat race rig they built, to some show-quality muscle cars. They even have their own paint booth so nearly every aspect of a build is done in-house. At CCOR they specialize in top-notch fit and finish and incorporate that knowledge and skill into building turn-key high end rock racing rigs.

For this build they were asked to do a full frame up restoration of a customer's college ride, a 1984 Jeep CJ-7. He wanted a classic look with a few modernized touches to update it a little bit. Aside from the perfect fit and finish of the metal work on this rig, the guys added some cool subtle touches that really pulled the look together. First, they used a YJ windshield which is a much cleaner look, as well as YJ half-doors and a YJ soft top. The stock inline 258 got a basic TBI style fuel injection and the engine wiring was cleaned up to better than show-room quality. Dana 30 front and a Dana 44 rear with disk brakes. For the interior the had creature comforts like A/C and leather seats and full carpet to deaden the noise. Simple mods like a 4" lift and 35" Nitto Trail Grapplers gave it a more modern look.
