Just bought a triple rate slider for my coilovers and they showed up and there a hard composite material and seems as they would bust/crack under load. The double rate slider I already have is a hard rubber compound? Just curious if I should send them back or what :dunno: :dunno: any help or input would be appreciated

Re:

The dual rate sliders on the new Fox coilovers I just bought are plastic. I think you'd have to exert a metric ****-ton of force far greater than what will be exerted on it in it's intended use, to shatter it. The force applied on it, should be basically like that of a spacer between the surfaces of the upper spring and the tender coil. So the body structure/design doesn't really have to be super strong like you'd think, because it just holds the springs in line with the shock body. UHMW or Delrin, I'm not sure, but either are extremely durable plastics.

*just my take anyhow.
