Cop punches girl...

Reading the story and watching the video, it sounds completely justified.

I would be crapping my pants in that situation. A white cop in that situation on MLK, with a crowd gathering? No thanks.
 
I don't consider that a punch but properly controlling the situation. I am all for holding LEO's responsable for there actions but I feel the situation was fully justified.
 
There's a lot of things in the video that bother me...

The fact that these girls have no clue that they are assaulting a police officer in the first place...

The other people just hanging out talking **** and taking video with their phones...

The way the cop was wide open to be attached from behind...
 
She should hae shut her dam mouth N listened to the cop.

How come she was dropin the N bomb so reclessly. Ill bet if he would have said it back. He would be in big trouble.

I wonder what the baggies were on the hood of the cop car. CRACK HEADS.
 
I would have blasted the other one too she was working him over trying to resist arrest. If it was me I just wouldnt patrol any street with a MLK sign on it. They would figure out real quick how bad it gets without any police patrols, and the same *****es claiming police brutality would be crying about the cops not helping out in their neighborHOOD its kind of a no win situation.
 
I bet girl's momma will be SO proud of her when she sees this.

I hope the girl he hit get's arrested as well.

I thought he exhibited good control.
 
She touched the cop in an aggresive manner, he had every right to use force to get her in cuffs.... it did seem like it took him some time to cuff her though. But regardless you dont push a cop....

I feel it was justified but he could have aprehended her quicker i feel.

I've watched a lot of episodes of Cops and they bust 'em open like a Nutcracker at Christmas:awesomework:
 
Even after punching the girl in pink I think he should of punched the other girl just make sure she gets the point. :awesomework:

Once that cop started to arrest the 1st girl everything changes. I saw resisting arrest, assult on a police officer, interfering a police officer in an arrest.
Sure seams that he could have subdued the 1st girl faster by slaming her to the ground, but I bet he didn't want to be on the groung too.

Cop was def behing enemy lines, I'm surprised back up didn't show up.

IMO he didn't do anything wrong and may have kept it from esculating into far worse.
 
Question:
is why didn't he tase both & arrest them in a swift clean manner. It took way too long to get the situation under control. 17 years old and putting your hands on a cop...both should've been flat on their backs, writhing in pain.

Answer to my Question:
The police officer would have been persecuted for excessive force and been labeled a racist bad cop. The community needs to step up and hold people like this responsible for their actions. I think the cop was way too nice.

She coulda just walked away, went home, grabbed a bowl of ice cream and started watching TV, and probly never woulda been found, but no, she stuck around like an idiot and went for a ride down town :D

That cop was way too patient.
 
It is just amazing that some of the black community see a completely different video than most everyone else.

maybe he should have just fired 4 or 5 "warning" shots to the head.

I think that the asswipe doing the video is so stupid, that what he thought was going to be his "big proof" of police brutality, ends up just showing how stupid and ignorant that group of people were.

I think the officer did what was justified. He had no back up, there was a large group of people (who gives a **** what color they were) screaming at him, and he had no idea what they could or would do.

I hope that this is totally proven justified and no lawsuits can come from this. Our country has gotten so sue happy, it's ridiculous! Those girls should have just shut their mouths and acted like little women, not little spoiled brats! If I was their parent, I'd be like "You got what you deserved! Next time, shut your mouth and listen to the officer!" :mad:

Yup, and the worst of it is.....there WILL be a next time for her and I highly doubt it'll be any different of a situation... ignorance....:rolleyes:
 
Some people are just not raised right. On top of everything else I would have got my ass whipped when I got home.
 
The news was just saying that the girl that got punched has a history of resisting arrest... And the other has a criminal record as well... Go figure...

If it had been guys instead of girls they would hve been laid out on the ground. I think the officer showed incredible restraint not trying to hurt the girls while trying to arrest them. And I agree if there was a law against stupidity the camera man would be in jail as well. If these "kids" had just listend to the officer in the first place they probably would have went on home with at worst a ticket. Kids and young adults these days just dont believe that they have to follow the rules of society and that their above the law.
 
This is going to sound so racist but I can't resist..

The cop should of put some water melon in the back of his car. Then there would of been no resistance. :haha:
