So second ride out in my new rig pretty sure I got the gear set in the Dana300. I really don't think I have room for a atlas so thinking about having the gears cryo'ed. Anybody done this or had any direct dealings with it?

Did the same thing!! I had a set cryo complete waste of money. Put the case together last year for RDB I made to the rock ledge and striped and split the case. I was a believer in the 300 till my buggy ate 3 of them in less than 4 months. I put a atlas in place and love it. Was a very tight fit but worth every penny.

also you can do the low max 4 to 1 kit.gears are as strong as you can get and they are a one piece design.original dana 300 gears are a two piece design and are known for destroying ****(been there done that) I cuurently run a 300 with low max in it with around 400 hp in front of it with no issues.
