Dana 300 Rear output end play

So I've got a Dana 300 with jb 4:1 gear and 32 spline outputs. ive noticed I have what seems to a good bit of in play on the rear output I have not put a dial indicator on it yet. I'm hoping it's just a shim issue... It's only been on one ride. Thoughts ?

Did you replace the bearings when you rebuilt?

Looking at their site, their output has shims to adjust end play. Not sure what the spec. is.
