Front or rear? As far as I can recall, all scouts were right hand drop front diff's. We put a early 80's wagoneer in a friend of mines 97 TJ

Mines got a 80s waggy also.

81 waggy is what I got, but its not a direct bolt in, quite a bit of mods to do.
