City Electric had guys running the tension &
pulling machines on either end of stringing the line... and nobody in
the middle to notice that a moose happened to walk through and get
entangled in the line.

After the machines starting giving some rather strange feedback, they
shut down and walked the line until they came across the live moose
thrashing around up there, snorting, and kicking the snot out of the
pole. They lowered the line but the moose was so aggravated by then he
entangled himself even worse and had to be put down.
