I just bought a 2004 24 valve cummins and it has a smarty tuner on it now on the setting " 2" , I only ever to intend to run a small tune so that it doesn't tear the truck up , I also got a banks 6 gun with the truck that's never been on it, witch of these two is better and why? I have had a 12 valve for years and don't know much about tuners Cuz that didn't use one ... I have two big trailers, 30' open deck and 48' enclosed ... So runnin the truck with 100hp setting seams like it's just gonna tear
The truck up quickly with this kinda load on it

smarty hands down. better tuner more updates and custom tuning available and has for safety features in it to keep you from hurting the engine.
