Layed the hood, cowl and attached one side panel just to check it out. The darkness of the shop and flash on the camera messes with the color a bit.

Why is the fuel pressure regulator mounted so far away from the engine?

What kind of filtering are you using pre and post fuel pump for the fuel injection?

Ls series engines use a filter/regulator that are all in one and we usually mount them right near the tank.
 
Plumbing for the brakes and fuel system is complete. Trans dipstick needed to be shortened and placed. The goal was to make all panels to be easily removed if needed. One person can remove all interior/exterior panels, dash, hood and cowl in just a matter of minutes allowing access to any portion of the wiring or drivetrain.

Twenty minutes on the lathe resulted in a cooler for the steering system. (yes, touch up will be done to the bezel paint :D)
