Not taking up for him but that rear axle truss is pretty good in my opinion, and really the chassis isn't that much different than the pic.

Both are very different. At first glance you may think that, but start looking a little closer and you will see. The chassis is not even close.

If you start you post off with "not taking up for him but"
Your probably taking up for him.
The question is would you have him do fab work for you?

Personally no I wouldn't, but also fortunately I can build anything I will ever want so that would never be an issue anyways.

And Redneckengineered what is your beef with him, Ive never meet either one of you but you are a complete ass towards him in every post. Not really any of my business but you really come off as almost picking on him, which is a bull **** move in my opinion (not that it really matters what I think).

I don't like the frame design at all, just to be clear, but I have built almost 30 rigs and I can tell you that I always change up things in the middle of building, every one has their own taste.

Is it ok that he has screwed up other builds as well as this one, cant be reached and pretty much doesn't know what hes doing? You have people that have had work done by the guy telling you the problems they have had but you seem to overlook that for some reason.

Im not over looking anything and once again I'm not taking up for anyone here I don't know any of the parties involved. Im just think the whole thing has been handled wrong. personally I think there is some major disfunction going on and I think there is more to play in this other that some add or whatever they said he had, but that's not my problem. There is no one that can say that the style of this cage is much different than the style of that jeep cage in his last attempt to get famous on here, neither of which is my personal preference, but before I spend the kind of money someone is going to have in a buggy, I would do some research on who I was planning on giving the money to. And if I had seen the previous work and heard the other horror stories that is out there about said work I would run for the hills. If you think your going to have a different ending to your story than others have had your probably a little foolish in your decision making thoughts. So to summarize I believe there is more than one person to step up and take responsibility on this malfunction. I personally don't think any of this should have been on here until the parts were picked up and the decision about the money was already finialized. David is going to have to learn to take emotion out of business decisions, and not post crap when he is bothered by something, take a day or two and start making better decisions.

Elliott ... having built over 30 rigs I assume you own a fab shop or something? Is it one I would have heard of? Only asking so that I'm in the know. Sometimes I feel pretty stupid about not knowing who is who around here.

LAST TIME.... DRUGS!!!!!!! End of story. Ask me how I know... Hell don't even bother, I wAs strung out on meth for 5+ years. And ALL OF HIS BULL**** has every sign pointing to it.. The only Thing to be worried about is Adam Carter getting his **** back ASAP!!! Because if y'all think for one second every little part is just going to sit there waiting on someone to pick it up... I would personally like to bet you money. :****:
I could be wrong.. I never stole, did any body wrong... Any of the bull**** that goes along with that.. That's because I was addicted to making money:, selling somthing.. (Use your imagination) .. But if you don't have income coming in you have to get money somewhere that's why people steal **** and turn into great con artist. .. I've had it all and lost it all.. All due to ****in dope. I really hope David gets his **** together.. Don't know him, i'm pretty sure we would not make it five minutes without budding heads.. But I hate to hear or see that about anyone because I know. Oh I know.. Cost me over 3 years of my freedom total.

I use to have an offroad shop, shut it down 5 years ago. Now I just build a frame every once in a while to sell.I said I would never build another one for an individual because of basically whats happening here, its very hard to build a rig to a individuals personal taste, most people know what they want until they see it and then they want to redesign it and not pay any extra. Anyone that deals with the public knows what Im talking about.I had a 6,000 ft building with my machine shop in the front, So between being able to build stuff and being able to machine and design about anything you could only imagine what people would expect to walk in and get done for free.
Now I just have my machine shop, building dies and specialty machines for factories, which also has down falls but pays way better.

Patoyee, heres just an example, And Im not knocking EOR, in any way at all, they do very good work and have a good business. But I remember reading your build thread on pirate, You got the 123 frame, which is a good platform to start with but you still changed some things up for your personal taste. There is not a buggy out there that you could walk up to and not change a thing, everyone wants different things, and if you have a builder build something there is going to be a little of his taste in there as well.

I think your helmet is cutting off the circulation to your brain. Have your handler at the front of the short bus loosen it up for you.

You're completely oversimplifying things. This is about WAY more than whether or not the product matches the picture. Gimme a freaken break. AC has been in this sport a long time, is a racer, and a competent builder. He has realistic expectations and knows how the game works. You need to just stfu and let this thing play out because I can promise you it's only going to get worse for David. Look at everyone that has come forward already just as a result of this thread. All of this info I have been privy to but most have not.

True. But I would think that someone farming out a build would expect to loose a lot of creative input. I would at least. When I bought the 321 I expected it not to be 100% a creation of my own. When I started rolling tube it turned out that I put the rolled tube in all the same places that EOR had already done with another chassis anyway. Its changed a bunch since even then, now you can barely tell its a 321. I have a buddy that has another 321 that I wheel with and people can't tell they're the same platform.

Anyway, we are digressing, but I agree, working with the public is difficult. I do it for a living. You try to please everyone but in the end you can't be everything to everyone. You just have to try to be the best at what you do and not change it for the few who can't be pleased.

I had to put them side by side because I couldnt' see the difference from one page to the next either. The CAD drawing looks like a nice solid chassis. The actual one has all those goofy, useless bends..

I think Elliot will forever be one of the folks on here that I'm never able to agree with. molaugh

What do you not agree with that I have said? And redneck you my friend are obviously just a ****.

I did the same thing and was going to post it but then decided not to enter the fray. :)

I'm not exactly sure what the relationship is but I know that David used to work for Woodlee and redneck owns 2 buggies that were built by Woodlee roughly during the same time period that David worked at WOD. In addition I believe that redneck and Woodlee have some mutual business ventures, or at least some business ventures that run close in interests. Just from speaking to redneck online and in person I believe that he and Woodlee are in somewhat regular contact. Based on all of this I would venture a guess that redneck may have some sort of personal, close-up experience with David, although I couldn't venture a guess as to what it might be. This is all purely educated speculation based on matching redneck's previous posts both on this forum and Pirate up with this scenario. If one didn't have a man-crush on him or wasn't stalking all of his posts online as I obviously am they might not put all of this together so I will help out where I can. :)

Completely off topic, but this thread needs a good derailing, but Patoyee do you have any secret barbque sauce recipes you could share(or at least I think you've stated before that is what business your in)

Not really. I would get sued if I shared any of the franchise recipes. :****:

A little humer is what we needed right now. Were about the leave the 205 and get on into the 404 for a little bit.I have just one question, which one of Elliott or Robby Bobby is selling this person of interest the Meth?If one of you will come clean then we'll know what area code to search the pawn shops for parts.

I do not know Elliot personally, but I do know that he has built a few rigs around here that have had the **** beat out of them for about a decade and are still holding up well

I can guarantee you that im not a meth dealer, Im just the person with enough common sense to know who to get into business with. And my area code is 615 :flipgotcha:

What takes you to the 404 side of things?

I'm just a **** I guess, because I am like Redneck Engineered. **** this Dynamite guy. Redneck just knew more than all of us before the Dynamite Disaster epidemic hit, which is why he's always been on his ass... He knew what was coming and what to expect. I lost all hope in Dynamite when he started that thread, halfass remodeling his fawking bathroom. Clearly not the work of a professional, a professional that's capable of turning out worthy fabwork. To hear him talk, he's the next EOR, WOD, Coleworx, Jimmy Smith, Angryfab, etc.....but the fact is, I've not even seen him build **** that your average Joe that builds his own **** in his own spare time at home with cheap tools should be proud of. So all these recent threads, I've just been watching and waiting to blow up, but trying not to be a super **** during the builds, until he ended up proving himself, or failing miserably....

P.S. I tried to find a link to that damn Dynamite bathroom remodel, but couldn't find it :wtflol:

LMAO, that last sentence got me. Pretty much right on with everything. Luckily I've never been screwed by David or had any personal dealings, I just know more about all the stupid bull**** he's done than I care to admit.

To be honest, I actually feel bad now that I didn't call this dude out earlier and try to warn everyone. Then Elliott would have really thought I was a ****. Truth is, lots of people have given David multiple chances to succeed and bent over backwards to help him. Sometimes you just can't help stupid ****s.

Adam, I hope it works out for yall and you get all your stuff back with minimum drama. I was pretty surprised that you wanted another buggy, to me the only upgrade over the single seater you raced last year would be an ifs car
